Our customer wanted a machine that could deposit potato in a complex pattern while ensuring a precise metering volume across different potato batches. Our research validated that no equipment on the market was able to satisfy these needs, so we initiated an R&D project to generate machine concepts, test them and define a final solution.
This lead into a full machine design and build project which has resulted in a cutting edge machine featuring the latest robotics, sensing and servo motor technology.
FLEXIBLE VOLUMETRIC DEPOSITOR
Rangiora company Chartek wanted to develop an automated system to manufacture charred timber cladding (Shou Shugi Ban).
TDI worked with Chartek through a full testing and prototyping project to arrive at a reliable manufacturing methodology.
TDI then designed and built a production ready machine so that Chartek could start making product.
Since then we have worked through several upgrades to make the machinery faster, more efficient and easier to use.
