TDI was employed by Scott Technology to design four stations for a Washing Cabinet Production Line.
Two of these stations were clinching stations with double axis servo control on the tooling, one was an indexing and clinching station, and the fourth was a pick and place servo motor transfer station.
The work involved concept generation, detailed design, FEA simulation and producing manufacturing drawings.
MANUFACTURING CELL DEVELOPMENT

TDI completed the design of two Band Tillage machines for Palmerston North company Precision Cultivation.
The machines perform cutting, ripping, tilling, flattening and sowing operations in banded soil rows. TDI developed two machine variants – one with six cultivating rows at a 500mm pitch, and one with four cultivating rows at a 750mm pitch.
